Music

Songs, concerts and contemplative music by Sacha Heath.

A room for listening.

Music has always been one of the ways I return to what matters.

My work moves between intimate song, contemplative practice, sacred traditions and live performance — ranging from Leonard Cohen to mantra and collaborative sound

Concerts

Leonard Cohen Tour

An intimate journey through the songs of Leonard Cohen, created and performed with Tex Drieschener of TV Noir. Touring across Germany, the concert brings warmth, depth and quiet reverence to Cohen’s music of longing, wit, tenderness and devotion.

Jealous Guy— with Henry Padovani

A tender interpretation of John Lennon’s classic, recorded for Henry Padovani’s album I Love Today. Henry—the founding guitarist of The Police and a distinctive figure in punk and new-wave history—brings a remarkable musical life to this intimate collaboration.

Songs for the inner life

Music rooted in devotion, deep listening and the quiet places beyond ordinary speech.

This collection brings together kirtan, Buddhist prayer songs and collaborative explorations of voice, overtone and resonance. Some pieces are made for singing together; others for stillness, contemplation and returning to what matters.

Kirtan

Five spacious, voice-led interpretations of traditional chants and mantras, recorded as invitations into repetition, presence and shared devotion. Released in 2019, the album includes Ragupati Raghav Raja Ram, Anandamayi Ma, Shiva Shambo, Sita Ram and Jai Maa Saraswati

Acknowledgement

These recordings are offered with gratitude and respect to the living South Asian devotional traditions, teachers and communities from which many of these chants and mantras arise. They are personal interpretations, shared in a spirit of reverence rather than ownership.

Music is only one strand of what I share. My weekly(ish) letters weave together new songs, reflections from life, and invitations to concerts, circles, retreats and online gatherings.

A quiet way to stay connected to whatever is unfolding next.
