A little introduction
Hello, I’m Sacha.
Musician, writer and guide, making room for creativity, rest and renewal through music, words and shared practice.

My story
A life woven from many threads
My work has never fitted neatly into one category.
I have spent much of my life singing, writing, teaching, raising children, creating gatherings and exploring the quieter practices that help us meet ourselves and the many complexities of modern life with authenticity, aliveness and joy.
For eight years, I lived in Corfu, where , motherhood, music and the sea profoundly shaped the way I understand creativity and sanctuary.
I now live in on a farm in an intentional community in the UK, where I continue to make music, write and create spaces in which people can pause, listen and come home to themselves.
The common thread
Whether I am performing the songs of Leonard Cohen, recording contemplative music, helping someone find greater freedom in their voice, writing about motherhood, or guiding a room into deep rest, the intention is much the same:
To create enough space for something with depth, honesty and aliveness to emerge.
I am also interested in the place where art, spirituality and ordinary life meet—a song beneath the olive trees, a poem written at the kitchen table, laundry folded with attention, or a group of people moving or singing together.

My Creative World

Music
I sing, write and record music spanning intimate song, kirtan, Buddhist prayer, contemplative collaboration and live performance.
Along the way, I have worked with artists including Henry Padovani, Igor Ezendam and Tex Drieschener, and I continue to tour, record and develop new musical projects.

Writing
My writing moves between essays, intimate letters, poetry, song lyrics and reflections on motherhood, creativity, rest, spirituality and the strange beauty of being alive.

Sanctuary
Through gentle movement, deep rest, retreats and shared practice, I create spaces for tired bodies, busy minds and creative lives.

why i do what i do
Experience and practice
I have worked as a singer and performer for most of my life.
I first started working as a singer as a teenager, joining bands, playing tiny shows in dimly lit pubs, and recording everything from drum and bass to acoustic songs, to jazz.
In my twenties, I signed a music publishing deal and spent several years honing my craft alongside extraordinary musicians—performing on larger stages and small renowned venues in Lonon and Paris sometimes playing on national radio shows across Europe.
While recording an album, I went through the painful experience of completely losing my voice. That time in my life changed the course of my work, leading me first to study vocal technique, then to recover my voice (…metaphorically and physically) and later to train as a teacher with IVA.
Alongside music, I always gravitated to meditation and understanding the nature of the mind and life. For over 28 years I have studied yoga and explored mantra. In the past decade my practice has become more rooted in Tibetan Buddhism and feminine mystisism. My work is also informed by practices including Nonviolent Communication, coaching and mediation, which I draw upon when holding sessions, retreats and creative spaces.
My approach whether I am on stage or in a private session is responsive rather than prescriptive: I begin by listening for what is needed in the moment. Depending on the person or setting, I may draw on vocal technique, movement, meditation, deep rest, creative practice and the wisdom gathered through lived experience.
I do not see these things as separate strands. Each informs the others. Everything is connected. Technique matters—but so do imagination, courage, humour, rest, and the life surrounding the work.
